or if you hit someone you will know it was deffinatly your fault as you'd been drinking

from drinking half a pint,

really?

same goes for crashing, killing or any other unfortunate outcome the fact you have half a pint of beer in you would have zero bearing or adverse result on any prosecution

so my question remains, where is the risk?

I have been stupid and driven the car after drinking over half a bottle of wine!! Didn't feel drunk etc but i know it was stupid. I am 47 this year and should know better!!

Same as me, I've had a number of drinks and driven.
I genuinely don't have a problem with it, however if I am feeling a bit tipsy then I wont drive.
