What is the thought behind this - I would say that it is total gonads. Using a straw can't make you drunker as you're ingesting the same quantity of alcohol. The only caveat might be that drinking with a straw could mean you drink faster, and therefore may appear to get drunk *quicker*.
I'm fairly certain that there would be no difference in the intoxication amount or the speed of intoxication when consuming an alcoholic beverage both with and without a straw over the same time period.
Any ideas learned chums?
