Drinking Challenges

If this is allowed on these forums I have a quick question.

Is it possible to drink 8 pints of lager or cider in one hour?

How much liquid can be consumed in the body at any one time (safely) ? How frequent do you think visits to the bathroom will be?

This is a competition/dare/bet that a friend has recently accepted for the next night out and I'm a bit worried for him as I don't think it is possible, but he's going to do it anyway. And it will be me that has to escort him home somehow afterwards, he's a fairly big lad.

And on that note, have any of you lot got any drinking competition stories to share?

Hehe thanks for the responses.

I agree with people saying it's not fun and a bit silly to take part in dares like this, I personally don't find it fun but then I can't hold my drink to save my life.

My mate gets kicks out of these challenges and I'll probably enjoy watching the outcome since everybody I know has bet against him, but after reading these replies I'm confident he can do it.

Also, I haven't placed my bet yet

I've warned him till I'm blue in the face that he needs to be careful, he knows the risks
