I have 2 Seagate 3TB Barracudas and a D-Link 320-L.

When formatting the drives in RAID 1, it froze so I canceled and restarted the NAS. Now one of the drives can't be seen in either of the slots in the NAS, but the other one can ( it also works in BOTH slots)

It can be seen in Windows and Mac OS X as a stand alone drive but it just isn't recognised in the NAS.

I have tried re-formatting and nothing.

Any ideas anyone?

Found out why. The handle you attach to both drives, on the 'faulty one' had managed to twist ever so slightly which was meaning full contact wasn't being made between the sata slot and drive.

Few! Thanks anyway guys lol.
