driver and windows update help ?

im running XTreme G 178.26 Tweaked Drivers but every time i install them, windows update comes along and reinstalls the old ones on the update list..... it wont let me deselect them and automatically reverts them

How do i stop this other than turning WU off completely and not installing critical updates ?

why not run the newest drivers from Nvidia..

free performance gains!

I do, then windows update comes along and puts nvidia 178.26's back on and reboots....

winkey + pause/break, click advanced system settings.
hardware tab.
WU driver settings, set to disable
