Yea, the jumping was a very odd twist and seems a strange thing to do. I thought it would have made the game a little too easy in the long run...
Get chased by police, take over all of them and cause havoc, change back to main driver, boost away, job done...

After Driv3er it took me a while to buy any game again, let alone a driver game! That really was awful.
