Driver Download Problems

I have tried on several occasions to Download the Drivers for my Hp Officejet j4660 for W7 [64bit]m form the HP website. the only problem is that it will get to be fully downloaded or at least almost fully [203mb/203mb] then will go no further. It has done this on several attempts now.

any ideas whats going on?

Could be your a/v having trouble scanning it if it is set to scan in compressed files?

Try another browser/download client?

I think all HP's stuff is hosted on FTP servers so if you get the download link you could try FTP'ing it from the CMD line or an FTP client.

As above really, how long are you waiting when it's stuck? Might take a couple of minutes between finishing the download and making it available.

I've had it left for extended periods of time.... it just wont open.
