Getting a tad miffed now....uninstalled the 91.47 drivers due to poor video playback, and constantly having to tweek it.

So im trying to install some older more stable ones and im not getting anywhere!

Tryed installing 91.45 and 91.31 and each time it tells me

"the nvidia setup programe could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your hardware. setup will now exit."

These were downloaded from the Nvidia site.

Anyone have any ideas?

thanks Dag

Iv googled this to death and downloaded several drivers...... I cant believe I have wasted a evening Just trying to install some poxy drivers

Really mad with Nvidia at the mo!! never had a problem like this with ATI.

ok I tried installing the 84.21.....but am getting the same error

Iv reinstalled the 91.47 driver again......cos i was getting well p****d with no driver at all.

I even used driver cleaner and it made no difference! so there is something very odd going on.

Cyber mav....how is video playback on yours?.......very well known problem with these latest drivers which is why im going back or trying to.

what do you mean by poor video playback?

need more details on the video your playing. its resolution and format would help for starters.

i suspect nothing is wrong with the 91.47 drivers and its a codec issue or if your playing back HD video and your cpu is not fast enough your gonna get stutter. hardware HD decoding is busted in media player 10.

well basicly its very dark and the hue etc is all over the place......lots of people complaining about it with the 91.47s

edit.....and its on everything from Avi's to proper dvd's
