It's an IRDA device, if you don't nee it then you should be able to disable it in the BIOS. finding a driver for Win7 might be tricky, tried the manufacturers website?

Yep, it's a iRDA header,just been looking at the manual, so disable it in the bios.

The iRDA connector lives just in front of the floppy connector
