Hi guys i wonder if anyone can shed some light on an issue I've been having recently.
I first noticed the problem about a week ago when i was watching a video on Youtube, whilst watching the video i noticed half the video was moving/warping similar to how an old VHS tape would when the tracking is out. It was quite subtle to begin with, I just assumed it was an issue with the video that was uploaded but then realised it was happening in pretty much every video i watched.

Now in games i get flickering black textures like this...

It appears it be more prominent in graphics intense games.
I have tried several different drivers (currently running 14.6 beta) yet the issue still remains.

Temperature wise it's idling about 50c and hitting about 80c when gaming.
Oh and i forgot to mention it is a Asus HD 7990 which i have only had since November last year.

Not sure if it would help, but may be you could reducing the core clock or memory clock or both by 50MHz and see if that would help?

That looks like Memory problems. Try dropping your memory clocks in Afterburner and see if it still does it.

Tried both suggestions gradually reducing then testing until i can't go any lower and it still remains then same.

It seems strange that this problem would suddenly arrise when i haven't changed anything that im aware of ie settings or changing drivers.

I can't see the video, but from your description of the problem, I think I had the same problem on my old laptop. I re-installed the drivers and tried different ones and it persisted.

Have you tried this yet? You could try different versions as well. I assume it happens in several games?

Also do all the usual things, check the GPU is inserted fully, check GPU power cables, check video cable. :)

Should mention that the laptop I experienced it on had an HD4530 with 512MB dedi VRAM.

Ok guys since my last post i have now tried different cables, reseated the card, checked and re-checked that all cables are seated properly and the problem still persists.

Then out of curiosity tried my old HD 7700 this appears to be fine, no flickering/artifacts etc.

I then put my 7990 back in and tried 13.12 drivers and it's still the same.
I can only assume that this is a hardware problem unless anyone can suggest what might be causing this.:(

The memory on the GPU. Typical of faulty VRAM

So you guys think the card is knackered?
Thought i would run Heaven 4.0 just to show you exactly what it is doing. apologies for the poor quality as it was filmed off screen with my camera.

Do i contact Overclockers to send it back or the Manufacture? Never had to return anything before.:(
