Driver needed - cannot find it anywhere!

Howzit guys,

I need to get a PCI Serial card working on my Windows 7 machine. The card name is: PCI-2S-550.

I found loads of sites 'claiming' to have the drive and it wants you to download Driver Detective - :confused:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Tried that one - it installs via .exe and thats it? Used Device Manager to reinstall the driver afterwards - still nothing.

That would be correct - just checked the chip and it is a Winbond chip set

Found the exact card on that site and I am now downloading a Win 7 version of the driver.

Still no luck.

It installs the driver - thats it. Doesn't detect the card or tell me where it has installed it. Even uninstalled the device and let windows search the hdd for drivers - still nada.

I give up!

That is correct. It extracts some files to the C drive (Does not show the path or files being moved to the PC)

Then that's it.
