Driver or hardware?

Getting the above errors in TF2 and also noticed them to a lesser extent in assassins creed other games I play I have no issues with, I use the omega 3.8.442 drivers the graphics card is a x1950 pro from sapphire.

I have issues with the last few cat drivers (lockups and stutters) so cant really try different drivers right now, so was just wondering if this is software or hardware issue and if it could indicate the card is on its way out?

Nothing is overclocked on the system, all temps are reasonable, fan is running, no visable sign of fault on the card and card is seated and powered correctly

Cheers for the reply I'll give it a try later, but I *think* the clocks are locked on my card could be wrong just I remember seeing something like that on rivatuner or something.
