hi

so i got my new graphics card yesterday [good deal on the mm]

basically i have installed nvidia drivers Version: 177.79

obviously i want to overclock the card a bit

rivatuner v2.09 is saying that it doesnt support the drivers for 177.79

is there beta drivers or an update of riva tuner that will allow me to tinker?

i have seen people using NVIDIA ForceWare 177.39 for benchmarks
and guru 3d has no more up to date/beta drivers than nvidias website

is anybody else using similar drivers or suggestions for alternatives

all other system drivers are as up to date as possible and cleaned off properly before install

my motherboard is on the latest bios from the asus website too

Usually Rivatuner gives a warning that the drivers are not supported but works anyway.

Or doesn't Rivatuner work at all?

it normally works anyway - but in this instance it does not allow me to access the overclocking options

i was thinking it may be due to the card being factry overclocked but a quick flick around the web shows that it shouldnt matter

Have you tried driver overclocking or low-level overclocking?

Other option is to search for an older driver.
