I've recently changed my motherboard because I thought it had a problem. It turned out to be my ram. So unfortunately I've had to re-install windows. Not a problem as it needed to be done anyway, but I can't get any graphics drivers to install. It gets to the point where the display goes blank and is supposed to go on again (presume this is when the drivers are finished installing).
At this point, my machine either a: doesn't come back into windows at all and resets, I then have to restart to my last known good settings (i.e. without graphics drivers installed)
or b: I once got a screen full of artifacts up, little horizontal lines about 5mm in length each, mainly in black and white. But no pattern to speak of.
Has my graphics card has it also? (along with 2 hard drives and possibly my CD drive!)
