Been playing the living daylights out of Burnout on the PC. Completed the game now so I fancied having a mess about with a mutiple monitor setup. This is taken from the Criterion Games website:
Windows Vista ofcourse cannot do horizontal span but XP can, only problem is, the darn setting in the Nvidia Pannel doesn't exist for some reason. I'm running a pair of 9800 GX2 cards (SLI disabled) and have tried these configurations with no luck: Monitor 1 on Card 1 GPU 1 via DVI, Monitor on Card 1 GPU 2 via DVI. Monitor 1 on Card 1 GPU 1 via HDMI, Monitor 2 on Card 1 GPU 1 via DVI and Monitor 1 on Card 1 GPU 1 via dvi, Monitor 2 on Card 2 GPU 3 via DVI.
The 2 displays work fine as dual view, but the "Setup mutiple displays" tab inside the NCP doesn't exist. I've tried all the above setups with 185.185, 185.68 and 182.50 with no luck. Does anyone know of a way to get this feature to work?
I hear that I can have up to 3 monitors on Paradise PC, how do I do that?
The game does not enable extra monitors it does however support very wide resolutions and aspect ratios. The game also allows you to configure the placement of the HUD and Car.
For the game to be output to 2 screens you can use an NVIDIA cards that is configured to run in horizontal span (run the NVIDIA Control Panel to change the display mode).
