I have a 1070 and a GSYNC monitor and 2x 60Hz Samsungs in extended mode. When I GSYNC enabled and the other 2 cards attached to the 1070 I get intermittent black flashing screen which I cant seem to resolve so I thought id put a 2nd GPU in to run only the GSYNC monitor through my 1070 which has fixed the flashing screens.
The problem is the 2nd GPU I added is a GT430 which only takes up to driver 388.13 and I cant for the life of me get both GPU's running at the same time.
If I install the lastest 413 driver GSYNC option appears in the NVidia control panel but the GT430 has an exclamation in device manager.
If I install the 388 drivers I lose the GSYNC option and cant use that.
I have tried installing the newest drivers and then unpacking the 388 and manually installing directly to the GT430 which installs but once i restart the PC the GSYNC option is gone again.
Is the only way round this problem to have the 2nd GPU new enough that it runs the latest drivers like a GT710?
