Played the Demo, I don't think I would even be getting it if it was on one of their free offers... Its terrible.

As far as I am aware, no GMG codes will activate on Steam as they are unique to GMG for their trading to work.

Doesn't stop the question getting asked in every GMG thread though :)

Dead Island and SR3 are two i can think of i bought off there that activate on steam :p

Not true, theres loads of games on GMG that activate on Steam!

Also, if its a steamworks game then it will definately activate on steam, these games can also be bought from GMG!

Are you getting mixed up with GOG (Good Old Games .com), not GMG?

This is BS.

Steamwork games activate on Steam no matter where you get the code from.

As others have mentioned, this isn't true, but it's an understandable assumption.
GMG have a notification in most pages whether a game can be traded or not, and in the case of steamworks games, make it clear that the game needs steam.
Look at the saints row 3 page, for an example of both.
