Now this is the ONLY thing stopping me from switching to vista.....again (for the 3rd time lol) every time i think "no it'll be fine" but end up getting in a paddy over this...

Is there any way at all to disable/remove/nuke/punch in the ovaries driver signature enforcement?

OR does someone have a simple explanation on how to trick it into thinking a driver is signed?

and finally any lovely people able to find me a link for a vista 64bit service pack 1 usbport.sys file thats modified to make the USB ports 500hz refresh rate? - as you can guess...it needs to be signed

I think the only way to disable driver signing atm is from the Safe Mode menu on every boot.

There is a command which does disable the enforcement. Though I can't think of a good reason to do this (more and more stuff is becomming drive signed such as CoreTemp).

Worth trying the following:

"bcdedit -set loadoptions \”DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS”

that's never worked sadly m4cc45 :( remember using it (among a few other things) in the past, just wondered if anything working had been released yet

I'm surprised no ones come up with some way of automatically doing the safe mode option without user input
