Hi All,

Is there a good free piece of software that can determine the correct audio drivers i need to download?

Do not use those bloody driver download applications.

Simple to update manuall, just find the manufacturer of the device you want to update and visit there website for latest drivers.

Yeah have avoided those driver applications, but am having difficulty determining the on board sound, motherboard manufacturer I guess. Or DXDIAG has just popped in my head

So, you are not sure of the motherboard manufacturer and board model?

CPU-Z, should give you the board make and model, if using dxdiag doesn't,

Grab the Hardware ID from Device Manager and Google it.

I use Snappy Driver Installer Origin for my drivers, except for graphics.
