Driver stopped working, sounds stopped too..

The past few days my computer monitor randomly turns on and off, then I get an error about the Nvidia driver and that it's stopped working. Then the sound doesn't work. I have to restart my computer everytime.

How can I stop this!

The most common issue for this error is when your GPU is overclocked,so have you overclocked yours?

Try system restore, take it back to the date before the problem. If that doesnt work uninstall the reinstall latest drivers. Is your gpu overclocked?

Had exactly the same problem the other day. Have you been fiddling inside your pc or moving about? ( i had been ) and the GPU wasn't in the slot correctly.

I have the same problem, it seems to be fixed by moving down to the 270 series of drivers. Only seems to happen as well when your viewing flash so it may have something to do with software incompatibility with the latest version of flash
