Hi all,

Hopefully picking up my TVR soon and was thinking of attending one of the sports car driver training courses with a view to tracking it eventually.. Has anyone attended any of the courses and can you recommend a good one?? (ideally in the North, but I don't mind driving south if it's worth it)

Really just want to learn how to properly handle the beast before it trys to mate with a tree.

I did an Andy Walsh Car Limits day and it was worth every penny.

Full day with lunch, was the first time I spun my car and had it doing all sorts of outrageous 'loss of control' slides etc.

4 of us there, one guy had a TVR and oh my it looked like a handful!

Not recommending you do this day specifically but that you DO do one of them.

That's was my first choice.. I was booked on one of his courses a few years ago in my Elise, but work commitments meant I couldn't go..

I'm still curious on any others people have done.. in particular if there a little further north (I'm in Newcastle)

I will taking my Elise down to one of Andy Walsh's car limits days within the next month or so!

Looking forward to it - heared nothing but positive things about it.

Hopw about Croft? Not sure if anyone does the kind of driver training you're looking at there, I know they do 'experiences' and track days.

I only suggest it because it's not far from you :)
