Drivers confusion

Hi all

After changing from ATI to Nvidia, I find myself confused by the drivers that Nvidia have

When I went to upgrade the drivers from the CD ones, I found a Forceware 93.x as latest version and also a 97.x.
For some reason the 97.x ones didnt work, so I used the 93.x ones

Now I hear there is a Forceware 100.x

Are there two different versions for different types, or is the Nvidia website just confusing in itself

I have a 7950GT OC, the manufacturers box says use the drivers off Nvidia website.

It said it couldnt find any compatible hardware, and would display at 16 colors on reboot.

I do admit, this was before the reinstall when I still had ATI drivers lingering in the background

Ive done a full reformat/reinstall now

Ill stick with the 93.x drivers then
