Drivers for 206BW

Should I install the drivers for my samsung 206BW, is there any point?

When i first got it i installed them and magictune and once magic tune was installed the buttons on the monitor ceased working! So i have now uninstalled both and buttons work again and screen looks fine.

So do i need the drivers installed for any reason and if yes should i use the ones from sammy website or from microsoft update?

As far as I know, all the drivers really do is make the monitor's name appear in the display properties, instead of Generic Monitor or whatever it normally says.

No harm either way, it won't make a visual difference in my experience.

Do you use magic tune? If so did u ever have the similar problem to mine with the buttons - whenever i pressed any of them it just said magic tune on the screen?
