Drivers for new E8400 CPU?

After a long period of buying AMD (no reason, just that it was a better deal at the time), I finally bought my first Intel CPU, the Core 2 Duo Wolfdale E8400.

I'm going to install Windows XP SP2 on a new MSI P35 Neo2-FIR motherboard. Do I need any special drivers for the E8400? Some years ago, with my AMD system, I remember installing AMD drivers to enable Cool n' Quiet for the Athlon processor.

Are there similar drivers needed by the E8400 to enable Intel's Speed Step, or are drivers needed for this CPU for any other reason?

as far as im aware, from all the threads that appear about the e8x00 cpus, there is not drivers needed. speedstep is on by defult unless you turn it off in the bios, to do that disable E1ST adn C1E (i think, that the name, anyway if not it will be soemthing under a very similar name, most likely in cpu features or some similar place)

cpuz if there is a version that works with the e8x00 will be a good program to see if speedstep is on or off, if its on the multiplier will be below what it is set to in the bios, if it is off it will be what it is set to in the bios
