Drivers for old board

Download CPU-Z, that should give you all the details you need. Failing that, i think Everest does this also, but CPU-Z is your best bet.

Looking at that its the P4S800, but the original email that I had from my friend that I brought the PC from stated this

Motherboard

Asus P4P800-X Intel 865PE (Socket 478) Motherboard (MB-092-AS)

Price: £49.95 (£58.69 Including VAT at 17.5%)

So iam not sure if its the Asus P4P800-X.

Take the side off and read the model that is printed on the actual motherboard.
I think you'll find that CPU-Z is accurate.

SiS? Don't install the chipset drivers, they're rubbish. Just install the AGP driver, then the drivers provided by Asus for audio\lan etc.

The only drivers ive installed are for my gpu card. So iam after USB, and Audio but iam unsure if I require anything else?

I'd have installed the AGP driver first (the one related to the slot itself, which you can get from SiS), because otherwise you may find it hampers video performance....USB is already part of the Windows drivers. You just need audio and LAN after that.

Not sure about LAN as the internet is working fine on it - unless you tell me otherwise?

USB is only 1.1 atm so I want to update it to 2.0

Windows may have a driver for the LAN chip already but I prefer to use the manufacturers if it is better. As for USB, are you using Service Pack 1?

Yer I thought you got USB 2 when you get SP2.

Btw whats SIS? :o

Any easy way to figure out what soundcard ive got, as again its an old one.
