So I've recently bought my gaming pc.
I'm new to the whole desktop pc thing and I'm finding new things out everyday. One of those things is drivers, can someone explain to
Me what they are, how do I know they're installed or not and if not what ones I need. I bought my pc with no os, I installed windows 10 myself.

Drivers are the code that makes the thing work.

With Windows 10 its a hell of a lot easier these days and you often dont even need to install any yourself, however it may just install an older version or a generic version.

The key ones you probably should install yourself would be.

NVidia driver for the 1050 ti, you can download that from either NVidia via GeForce Experience or somewhere like Guru3d.com
Chipset/motherboard drivers, get them from your motherboard manufacturers website(Maybe even sound card drivers, though often included in this bundle)

Can run system information from the start menu (press start and just start typing it), it might tell you.

Otherwise check your documentation, should be a motherboard manual in there.

Or it might be on your invoice. Was is prebuilt? got a link to it?

Ah okay thank you (I'm currently out for Christmas) And how do i install the drivers? Download the files then run the program and delete the files after or do i put them somewhere?

Remember I didn't buy the os with it so I had to install that myself

Yes, download and run. You can delete the installation files or keep them. I tend to keep them (manufacturer could remove the webpage after a few years). You can create a new folder and store them in Documents or something.
