I have just built my new PC, specs in image below.

Just a day after I had it up and running it locked up completely and I had to reset. Once it booted up things didn't seem to load properly (system tray icons were all messed up) and shortly after it happened again. On the 2nd reboot it was fine though. Didn't think much of it as I had just installed everything. Then yesterday it happened again when trying to open CPU-Z. The program displayed an error and it locked up again shortly after. CPU-Z for some reason will also not work and hangs on "Monitoring" stage.

No hardware is overclocked. All software was installed from the discs that came with the hardware (excluding Corsair LINK). The lock ups seem to occur when I'm trying to do something which is either opening programs or exploring directories. It has not crashed during games, rendering with 3dsmax which utilizes the CPU 100% for hours and uses like 4GB of RAM or when sat idle. Things I have installed are:

Corsair LINK
Asrock XFast LAN 9.05.2063
Intel Rapid Storage Technology
Realtek HD Audio Manager
AMD Catalyst 14.9

Are any of these know to cause instability? Google searches haven't brought up any well known problems with any of them. I have been disabling Corsair LINK as I suspect that it's the cause and it hasn't crashed since but I will have to see if it does it again. My main concern is that the crashes hinder my work and corrupt open files so I'm always having to be cautious with files saves making sure I make a backup.

What PSU do you have? Also, don't use Corsair LINK as it's full of bugs and will only cause problems. I have a H80i and gave up trying to get it to work properly, you should unplug its USB header and uninstall it. Do you use it to control any of your fans?

I have the AX760i. Is there any alternative software that works with it? It's kind of handy for temps, fan speed and power usage but I can live without it if it is the cause of the problem.
