ok i did something silly and bought windows xp64 :o
and it looks like theres no drivers on the cd that came with my new monitor..

Anyone know if xp64 drivers exist for the dell 2407wfp?

Sorry mate, bit strange it says so on the page

Saw this on the dell forums:

to install the drivers you can't use the software installer included on the cd. You have to do it manually. follow these instructions to manually update the driver.

-right click on my computer and choose properties
-then click on the hardware tab
-then click on device manager
-expand monitors
-should say Plug and Play monitor
-right click on it and choose update driver
-Say "not this time"
-click next
-choose install from a specific location
-check include this location in the search
-and in the location bar choose the cd rom with the driver on it
-click next and it should find and install the driver automatically

I'm interested in this as well as I'm going to be running my 2007 off Vista x64 primarily

Well you dont "need" drivers for the 2007, just to get the monitors name to display in device manager? I presume you need them for the 2407 for the card reader?
