i have a new build and i am trying to install the drivers for the 8800GTS card but when i use the CD Setup program could not locate any drivers that compatible with your hardware. Is there something in the BIOS i need to adjust or enable IRQs or something.

I am running windows vista home premium 64, motherboard is a plain old P5K.

Probably best to download more recent drivers from the nvidia homepage methinks :D
I've been running 158.22 on my 8800gtx for the last couple days in XP and have tried all my games and they run nicely! Haven't tried Vista yet though so let me know how u get on!

will let you know how i get on. the drivers on the cd should work i think and hope.

i am thinking there is something in the bios i missed or changed because vista does not even recognise the soundcard X-FI.?

I had a real nightmare getting my system working properly when i 1st got it (from alienware) as it came with vista preinstalled and none of my hardware worked very well with it. But I since made a dual boot config with xp to tide me over until better support and dx10 makes its entrance proper (ie crysis/bioshock) Saying that though, Vista support has improved a lot since launch. :D
