Hi folks,

Hopefully an easy question to answer for me.

Is there any type of free programme that I can download that will scan my PC for all drivers and check if they are up to date?

Cheers

I think there are programs that are either free to try or free for the scanning part but then want money before they install drivers for you.

The general thinking on OcUK, I think, is that its much better to do this kind of thing yourself or if you have Vista/Windows 7, they do a really good job of finding new drivers for your hardware. :)

Yep from what I read on the net people also are saying it is better to do them yourself direct from the manufacturer, trouble is if you are not very technically minded trying to find drivers for a MOBO etc that you dont know what MOBO it is or what driver you have installed is a problem.

Nvidia has a scan tool but for some reason it says it is not compatible with my system although it states its for windows 7 which I have, maybe only Win 7 32 only?

True. You'd have to use something like Piriform's Speccy to help you there, which is no use if you aren't technically minded to know about something like that.

Do you have an nVidia motherboard? :p

Nope I have the one that OC put in there lol Its the Revised MOBO for Sandybridge [email protected].

I just checked the Spinosaur on OC site and from what I remember they have since changed the specs slightly from when I had it build by them.
