tocca racedriver 3
trackmania sunrise
gtr2

thanks kieron

I'm finding that Race: WTCC on steam is quite cool. Online racing has been fun but you can do a full race weekend via Lan too.

Are any of the games in the OP alright to play with a controller? I want some racing games, but i dont want to buy a steering wheel and i can use the wireless Xbox 360 controller. Would the games still be as 'playable'?

I used to do pretty well at Live For Speed using a joypad, as long as you can have analogue throttle/brake/steering it's all good.

LFS is no good to OP though, the AI are abysmal until you give them a few hundred laps to learn.

Live For Speed seems to be the one I get on the best with. Shame the GFX are a little behind the rest but I love the way the cars handle.

Obviously if you are familiar with Trackmania Sunrise, you'll like Trackmania Nations. Also, you can buy Trackamnia United, which looks great.

Have a think about rFactor. So many decent mods and circuits available now and the netcode is second to none. Check out rfactorcentral for a list of everything available.

Cheers, Russell
