Yes or no?

I quite fancy some nice leather driving gloves for the cold winter mornings.

Does anyone here have some that they wear? Or would it be considered gay?

Where would be a good place to get some? I tried Debenhams earlier this week but they didn't really have any gloves I liked.

My old boss wore them, and looked the biggest plank known to man..

So No, for the love of god No...

:)

LOL, I remember in the early 80s my dad had a silver capri 2.0S and to go with it he bought fingerless leather driving gloves with a chequered flag pattern on the back.

I'm sure he felt quite the hero. :)

Only acceptable these days if you have a suede steering wheel with a bit of yellow tape at the top.

When I had my Mini, I had a pink suede steering wheel that I was quite precious about, so I had a pair of thin gloves I would use to drive in. (They were pink!)

Now, the steering wheel is far from pink as it is used on the race car! The only time I wear gloves now to drive is when I am on track :)

However, if you do want gloves to drive in, and don't want to look like an old man ;), I do recommend the Sparco ones.

I think wearing Sparco racing gloves would look a little out of place in a Saab 9-5 :D

I fancy some racing ones for my track day on Monday though.

i wear gloves sometimes in the cold winter mornings. steering wheel does feel a bit chilly at that time! not specific driving gloves as they have holes in them but cashmere and leather ones ;)
