Hey,

I'm off on holiday to Spain at the end of the month, and we'll be hiring a car. Will I be allowed to drive over there? I'm 21, had my licence over 3 years.

Thanks :)

Ok, I've found out that you only have to be 18 to drive a UK car over there.

Does anyone know about hiring a car? Will I be OK to drive that?

www.carjet.com is the best place for Spanish car hire. I go to Spain a lot and always use them - they will insure anyone over 21, no additional charges for extra drivers and no excess on the insurance which is absolutely essential in Spain because they don't give a toss about cars over there and chances are you will pick up a knock or scrape if you park in any of the busier towns and cities.

The roads are pretty good over there in the urban areas, but its very much every man for himself, particularly where there's congestion.
