Driving license help

I have a Full UK driving license and was wondering, how heavy a vehicle can i drive?

On the back of my license, it has a picture of a car and a lorry.

Just wondering the limit on what i can drive.

I think it's 3.5 tonnes - is the picture of a lorry you have got the letters C1?

If you got your license before 1997 it will be 7.5 tons. If you got it after 1/1/1997 you are limited to 3.5 tons.

You can only drive up to 3.5 tonnes under Cat B. Had you have had C1 you could have driven a vehicle up to 7.5 tonnes as Dangerous has explained.
