Do they require a digicard?

I start on Thursday and i told them i do 4.5hrs then break. He said councils run under different rules so i don't need a digicard.
Is this true?

I don't want to risk losing my license first time out. I could have researched it but I wanted people who know or experienced it to give me a real world view.
Thanks for the links. :)

Just seems very odd. Those links tell me what should happen but i can't see any relevance to the question with it being council? Sorry guys. I am probably being blind.

Load of ********. "No experience" so taken off the driving and they cancelled next week as the agency lied apparently....
Quit my job for that!
Wtf is it with drivers!?

A lot of employers will want some experience...
Find a new agency ASAP as there are many that do have jobs for newly passed drivers.

Believe me I know this - it was the agency lying to the company that did me as I'd quit a job based on that - I am now jobless thanks to lying *******.

The ones who need new passes are all class 1. Class 2 is impossible to get into. They need experience for the insurance - because from being driven around by some drivers I was far safer than all of them!

I thought it would be easy as people want drivers... But not in Leicestershire. There are obviously too many here. The only way i might stand a chance is commuting to Birmingham 40 miles away.

I've been looking for work since last November in driving.... Not one. Until yesterday.

I have - I must have signed up with 20 agencies with zero success because I 'have no experience' which every company seems to want 'for insurance purposes' or some rubbish....

Cheers both. Things are hopefully on the up....
Shunting class 2 tonight with an agency i was 'succinct' with. :)
If that gets my foot in the door fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed something comes of it as shunting in pitch black. Never reversed inches from vehicles, people and buildings in the dark but managed it well - even at 2am.
They said they'd put a good word in for me.
