I am currently having driving lessons and need something to practice parallel parking. Loaded Mafia and a few other games but alas - no side windows.
Are there any car games/simulators with side windows?
Many thanks

Practice in a real car, preferably the car you are doing your test in becuase you get a "feel" for what is right and wrong.

Instead of parking between 2 cars just try reverse past one car into an empty space. Your instructor should be able to teach you if you ask him/her for practice and tips.

You cant practice clutch control in a game im afraid

Driving sim games really won't help you in my opinion. Being in a real car, with real vision and pillars blocking your vision cannot be accurately simulated, as you're not going to be doing any moving your head, shoulders, feet, eyes at all in the way you would be. Ask your instructor to give you more time on them or, practice in another car if you could get access to it.

But, if you're just going for the fun of it, Try Live for Speed, that's free and the driver training things / free drive tracks will probably give you an idea on the dynamics.

Click the link in my sig for a free demo of Live for Speed, its just been voted best driving sim of the year so that will probably be your best bet.

Is their not a disk released by the DVLA that does all the parallel parking etc in the form of a game?

yes there are practical cds available, arent really that good though in terms of the responsiveness of the car, but it should teach you all the thought processes behind each manouver, reference points etc

(mine isnt an official DSA one though)
