Driving Simulator to pass practical test

^This. Clutch control was my biggest challenge.

I found clutch control easier than using the handbrake... so for a while I had the bad habit of holding the car on a hill with the clutch (eg at traffic lights) instead of using the handbrake

I forced myself out of that habit, but it's another reason that no simulator is going to help the OP. Handbrake hill starts, clutch control... you have to be in a real car.

Same with judging distance in your mirrors (for reverse parking) and other things. You only get better with practice in a real car.

You don't actually get good at driving until long after you passed your test, once you've been on the road for a couple years.

Why not just go to an asda car park and practice with someone who's insured?

Even though it's trucks, it's the most "realistic" sim for normal driving I've played, but nothing to the real thing
