Driving test retake - 10 day rule?

Hey guys,

Got my test on wednesday, if I fail I want to try and get a cancellation ASAP. My instructor said that there maybe a 10 day rule where you cannot retake within 10 days of failing, he's a bit of an old boy and wasn't sure though.

Anyone heard of this? Does it apply?

Dont fail it and you wont have to bother

really... dont think of failing!! you need to go in the confident you can drive and drive to a high enough standard.. dont let failing and retaking enter your mind my friend

I'm pretty sure that when I passed a little over 2 years ago, there was a 10 day rule between failing and resitting the test.

It's ten days for bikes (took my test a couple of months ago) and I can only assume it's the same for cars, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be.

Ten working days that is.
