DRM Help Cant play my newly downloaded songs :(

tbh i just buy the cd's

at least then you can do whatever you like to the tracks. of course, it completely defeats the object of digital music because you still end up with piles of CD's everywhere.

IMO the music industry has gone crazy with the whole music download carp and DRM **** lets all go back to vinal! Like to see them add copy protection to that! HA! :D

Ive just downloaded some tracks from Tesco.com and I cant play them... keeps comming up with error message from http://www.247license.com/ saying that theres been an application error which has been forwarded !!! Any help?

Im using WMP11

Try updating your Microsoft DRM files in Windows Update or try out the sample licensed track from the Tesco music site.

The WMP11 beta is having issues with DRM as well so it's recommended you stick with WMP10 until the full release, especially with the DRM "war" going on over a certain appliication.

As for DRM vs CD there's not really much difference anymore what with certain companies putting DRM on their CD releases.

I always buy CDs But only at like £5... I wanted to hear what the new Basement Jaxx CD was like before I spend £10 on it... So bought 2 of the tracks from it...
