Drop down menu help

Hi All,

I'd like to know how to create a drop down menu which allows you to select a topic on the first menu, and depending on what topic you select, it loads the relevant options in the submenu... does that make sense?

it's better known as a combo box. what are you going to be making it in? html/javascript, php, flash ect?

'combo box multidimensional array' may bring up some info on google.. i gota dash as i'm being moaned at :(
 
ah, course a hierarchical menu..

my excuse here is to much time with flash, a lot of folk call the combo box a drop down menu and so i didn't see the wood for the trees :o
