Drop in mpg after remap

Evening all

Some of you may know that I had my 330d remapped a few months ago. Prior to the remap my long term average was around 40mpg. After the remap I am averaging around 37, and sometimes it drops even lower. The kind of driving I do hasnt changed in that time.

Now, everything I have read about remapping leads me to believe that I should expect the same or slightly better mpg.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Also, its smoking a fair bit more than it did before.

Maybe I put my foot down a little bit more, but even when I dont the economy still sucks!
