Drop in size/resolution?

I currently have the Dell S2409W 24" (1920x1080).

I'm currently looking for a new 120Hz monitor since I play a lot of FPS's/Games and was wondering I bought the Samsung SM2233RZ 22" 120Hz 3D Widescreen LCD Monitor would I notice a big disadvantage/downgrade?

Graphics card I have got is the Gigabyte GTX460 1GB - 800/1600.

I ideally don't want to spend no more than £180-200 if you have any better recommendations?

Hi, thanks for the detailed reply. I think I may invest in the Samsung as I still prefer the 16:10 ratio when gaming - although it may all seem placebo?
