Hi there.

I used to get a speed of about 6.60mb but for some reason it as dropped to about 5.32mb. I've done all the stuff like removing the bell wire, changed the old BT master socket to a ADSL filtered one. (I did that like year ago)

So,

Is they anyway to get my speed back up?

Here is the statues:

DSP Firmware Version A2pB025f.d22k
DMT Status No Defect
Operational Mode ADSL2+
Upstream 1052
Downstream 6240
SNR Margin(Upstream) 5.7
SNR Margin(Downstream) 2.1
Line Attenuation(Upstream) 26.9
Line Attenuation(Downstream) 51.5

Thanks.

Here is a speed test I did when I had 6mb.

And the statues I had then was
DSP Firmware Version A2pB025f.d22k
DMT Status No Defect
Operational Mode ADSL2+
Upstream 1027
Downstream 7232
SNR Margin(Upstream) 5.8
SNR Margin(Downstream) 3.4
Line Attenuation(Upstream) 26.9
Line Attenuation(Downstream) 52.0

I have the Bipac 7800N that's why my SNR is low because I set it to something like 11 I think it was.

EDIT:

Is my modem set-up right for me with these settings?

ADSL Mode:
Annex L On
Annex M Off

ADSL Modulator:
ADSL2 Off
ADSL2+ On
G.Lite Off
T1.413 Off
G.Dmt Off

Capability:
SRA Enabled Off

PhyR:
Upstream On
Downstream On

DSP Firmware Version A2pB025f.d22k

Upstream 1068
Downstream 6651
SNR Margin(Upstream) 5.1
SNR Margin(Downstream) 0.0
Line Attenuation(Upstream) 26.8
Line Attenuation(Downstream) 51.5

I know what I'm getting now is good for saying how long my line is etc.

It's just I used to have 6mb so I don't get why it went down to under 6mb. I've installed a program called inSSIDer so I could see what CH is being used, so I switched to CH 13 but still same speed.

I don't think it's to do with how many people are using it, as I have done speed test before at like early hours in morning at 3ish and still have same speed that I do in day.

Is they any way to get upload speed faster as well? I wish I could go on cable but no cable where I live. :(
