Dropbox and growl?

i have just installed Growl (never used it before) and would like it to accept notifications from dropbox... I've googled it but can't find how I would get Dropbox into Growl's application list?

any ideas?

Dropbox icon > Preferences

Tick (or untick > OK > Tick > OK) "Show Growl Notifications"

sorry mate, what do you mean dropbox icon?

the one on the menu bar just gives me "Open My Dropbox", "Web Interface" & "Feedback"

tried all sorts of things but i can't bring dropbox into "focus" to get access to preferences

(while i'm here... how the hell do i switch it on in Adium too... can't find the option in the preferences?)

Normally all apps i've experienced register with Growl automatically - although that's happened because I've installed Growl first.
