A colleague has tried to install Dropbox on her iPad. The logo is greyed out and says, "Waiting". It is not doing anything. There is no progress indicator showing it is updating/installing. If you try to delete the app, the icon doesn't shake and there is no X to press whereas all the other apps icons do shake and offer a X to delete the app.
I googled for this error on Friday and found some tips, some of which I'd already tried but without success. One tip was to sign the user out of their iTunes account in the Settings, turn the iPad off, turn it back on and get them to sign back in. This didn't work.
I shall continue to google this but I found very little results of any promise. Does anyone here have any idea what is going on and how we can fix it?
