Is it possible to have multiple computers connected to one account but only allow each computer to view their own files?

To expand a bit, can I have folders set up (or another way) so that computer 1 can only see file 1, computer 2 - file 2, computer 3 - file 3 etc. None of the other computers can be allowed to see any of the other files bar their own.

Then be able to access any of these files from "my account"? If I need to pay for a pro version Im happy to do that.

Hope that explains things properly

if in understand you correctly then yes, you can do selective folder sync. So just make a folder for each computer and set the computer to sync its respective folder. I use this for my work computer because I don't want personal pictures or my personal documents to be on there. No need for pro.

You can tell Dropbox to sync certain folders. I have my work computer set up so that it only sees the folder named after the school I work at but none of my private folders. At home I have Dropbox set to sync all my folders. So you can definitely set multiple computers to only sync certain folders, or just a single folder. The problem lies in that you can't password protect Dropbox's settings to stop someone selecting other folders to sync.

As far as I know the Pro subscription model for Dropbox allows for nothing other than increased storage space.

indeed - you would need to use separate accounts in that case, or some kind of funky truecrypt stuff
Yup. I can see why Mark M would like that kind of feature in Dropbox but I think Dropbox is marketed as a tool/program for one person at a time and not a multiple user program. It can be used in that way but not with security features that would really suit that. Shame really. :(
