My mate is urgently seeking a drummer to compete in the final of the prestigious Best Band in Barnet competition tomorrow night. His stand-in, stand-in, drummer has dropped out giving them an entire days notice.

I know this a longshot of epic proportions, but if you're up for a bit of a laugh in trying to win a competition based on about 2 hours rehearsal and can get to London tomorrow then drop me an email - richard dot beaumont at accenture dot com and I'll pass the details on.

He doesn't care if you play death metal or acid jazz - if you can keep a beat you've got the gig.
 
Drummers :mad:

In 7 years I've had 9 drummers in my band - one was mad as a hatter, one died, one was a complete ******* and the others left because they thought they could earn more money.
The band was together for 6 years before I joined and went through 6 drummers.
I sometimes think they are a completely different animal.

It could be worse.
They could play guitar...


I'd take you up on the offer if I lived in the country :/

And wont moan on about how much stuff they have to lug round all the time either ;)
