Heard a very loud noise outside...

Someone has mounted the pavement in their car, done a 360, wheel BENT, they got out and ran.

Oh, they collected their jumper first.

Luckily, they somehow missed the blue parked car AND the wall. Or maybe that was intentional?

As they ran most likely stolen, not licensed/on the insurance to drive it or drunk :S

That wheel is definitely drunk.

Checked DVLA records:

✗ Untaxed
Tax due: 21 May 2016
✔ MOT
Expires: 11 February 2017

I would guess the lack of Tax is not intentional if MOT was completed in February?

However, does make one think if insured or not.

Anyone know if the Police will just scrap the vehicle or will they take it further?

WOW

That could have been much much worse then.

Multiple cars, pedestrian, damage to house.

IDIOT.

The car likely not registered then.

In which case they got away scott free. Police may have caught him running if they came when reported but they came 4 hours later. I guess on a Saturday night, just other priorities.

Given the date its possible it is taxed and just not updated (though stretching credibility a bit) but doesn't sound like whoever was insured to drive it heh.

Or perhaps mot'd in Feb, then sold on as with new VED rules tax is no longer transferrable. Tax would expire on the last day of the month otherwise not over a week beforehand

My guess is, knowing the corner and the wet conditions, control was lost on the corner and it was the mounting of the kerb doing a certain speed which damaged the wheel?
