I'm having issue's with my laptop, been around for some time. The problem is everything time i switch my laptop on i get this stupid error message:

Now i have tried googling the problem but i'm not getting anywhere. Well i have found two links that may help me, but would like further assistance from you guys.

These are the links i have been:

http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000706.htm
http://www.intel.com/support/network/adapter/pro100/bootagent/sb/cs-008212.htm

Anyways, once i get that error messege, i gotta press ctrl+alt+del for windows to load.

any info's would be appreciated. and if this thread is not in the right place, mods please move it.

thanks.

Possibly the bios is not set to boot from hard drive or the connection the the laptops drive could be loose/faulty. Thats all I can think of I'm afraid.

My brother had a similar problem with his old PC - the Intel Boot Agent all of a sudden started instead of XP. I read that an easy fix is to turn off the boot agent if the option is there in the BIOS, never got round to trying it though as he reinstalled and the problem went away after that... then he got a new PC :)

The bios is set to boot from a network connection rather than the hard drive. Go into the bios and change the boot order to the hard disk first or disable network boot agent and that should sort it.

Ok i'v loaded defualt settings on the bois, gona see if that helps.

I'll let you guys know that outcome.

Yeah, your system is trying to boot from the network :)

Just change the boot order so the Hard drive is above the network, then it should work fine...

That, or disable network booting all together.
