Hi guys
I've had a full face, short beard for years, I always just trimmed it down to the one length with a trimmer so I haven't shaved with a blade or dry shaver in nearly a decade. A few weeks ago I decided to try something completely different, a goatee, the Heisenberg type which I am really enjoying.
I'm really not a morning person and I knew I wouldn't have the energy, time or patience every morning to go through a whole shaving routine, plus I have quite sensitive skin and my faical hairs grow in so many directions so I rash quite easy and I can't be arsed with the trial and error so I decided to buy a dry shaver. I bought the Braun Series 3 ProSkin 3080s foil shaver and I'm really glad I did. It's super handy, easy on my skin and although its not as close as a razor shave, I'm happy with how close it gets.
My only problem is my neck. On my left side my hairs grow down toward my chest so its easy for me to stretch the skin and do vertical strokes, but on the right side they grow toward my ear and because of the grove of my neck and jaw in that area the shaver really struggles to get those hairs because I can't get it angled correctly to go directly against the grain. I've tried stretching the skin as much as possible but it just wont get in deep enough.
I'm currently just shaving this area with a razor every few days but ultimately I would prefer to get it along with the rest of my face each morning.. Any dry shaving verterans have any tips?
